Ayodele Daniel, Orimolade Pelumi and Ayeni Precious were all named in Nigeria's 14-man Junior YellowGreens squad for the ICC U19 World Cup Africa Qualifier in Rwanda.

Founded in 2005, Ibadan Metropolitan Cricket Club is a family of players, professionals and young talent developing the game in Oyo State — on the field, in schools, and in the community.

Who we are
A club built on friendship and the love of the game
The idea started just after the 2002 Nigeria University Games hosted by the University of Ibadan — a determination to show the country that cricket in Ibadan was making its mark in its own way.
The vision waited on funding and leadership until 2005, when Okon Ukpong — a cricket veteran and ex-Nigerian international — and a few other lovers of the game gave it root. IMCC was born on 1st October 2005, and lined up that same year for its first ever match in the Lagos CCC league. The club was formally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission on 27th October 2011.
Our objectives
- Create an avenue for members to play the game, relax and bond.
- Develop, integrate and foster cricket skills and personalities.
- Assist in the education and character development of younger players.
- Support cricket education through teaching in schools and other avenues.

Youth development
Identifying and nurturing young cricketers to fulfil their potential in the game and in life. Nigeria's national captain, Joshua Ayannaike, came through the ranks of this club.
Ibadan Easter Cricket
A festival that welcomes every cricket lover to our home in Ibadan for two days of relaxed cricket. First played in 2011 with the University of Ibadan Cricket Club.
Family outreach
A day of barbecue and fun with friends and family, and a little time for cricket. It is a time we cherish as a family club.

Division Two champions, promoted to Division One
IMCC won the Division Two title of the 2021/22 Club Cricket Committee League, earning promotion to Division One.
